The
Afghanistan - America Foundation
In light of the recent
tragic events and in facilitating a desirable outcome in Afghanistan,
the Afghanistan Foundation has been renamed and will be hereby known
as the Afghanistan
- America Foundation.
The
Afghanistan - America Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit, non-partisan,
independent organization located in Washington, D.C., a few blocks from
the U.S. Capitol building. It was founded in May 1996 and was incorporated
in the District of Columbia in October 1996 by former U.S Congressman
Don Ritter (R-PA, 1979-1993) along with committed Afghan and American
leaders.
